Weber, known today as one of the leading manufacturers of wheelie bins and waste recycling bins, began producing technical plastic components in 1969 in the city of Haan. The continuous growth necessitated relocation to new operating facilities in the early 1980s. The company therefore moved to newly-constructed manufacturing and office facilities in the industrial area of Haan-East, the current headquarters.

For Over 30 Years: Manufacturer of High-Quality Mobile Waste Containers and Wheelie Bins

In the early 1990's, production of technical injection-moulded parts was expanded by the new production branch of waste technology – the company became a manufacturer of high-quality plastic litter bins and wheeled refuse bins. High-capacity large machines for the production of two-wheeled dustbins up to 360 litre capacity were installed for this purpose.

In the years that followed, Weber continuously expanded its position as a producer of waste recycling bins and mobile garbage bins. The product range was steadily expanded: since the end of the 1990's, all standard two- and four-wheeled waste recycling bins and mobile garbage bins from 60 to 1100 litre capacity have been manufactured at the company's headquarters in Haan. Production capacities are constantly expanded to meet the growing demand for high-quality Weber wheelie bins and waste containers.

Wheelie Bin Manufacturer by Conviction

The focus on the business activity as a manufacturer of plastic waste recycling bins and mobile recycling containers is reflected (since 2006) in the change of the company name to "Abfallbehaelter & Container Weber GmbH & Co. KG". Our domestic waste containers and mobile wheeled recycling bins are used today in many countries all over the world. All of our waste containers and wheelie bins are still produced with our own tools on specified injection moulding machines, exclusively at the Haan location in Germany.

As a manufacturer, Weber offers the complete range of rolling wheelie bins and waste containers as well as accompanying services to support municipal and private customers in optimising their waste disposal services. Weber manufactures mobile waste containers (MGB) with 60, 80, 120, 140, 180, 240, 360, 660, 770 and 1100 litre as well as a 10 L pre-sorter and the 50 L DIN litter bin – direct from the manufacturer in Haan, Germany.

All Weber plastic waste bins, litter bins and wheeled refuse containers meet all relevant European standards and directives. The mobile waste containers are manufactured using the compact injection-moulding process from high-molecular polyethylene (PE-HD). This material has been specifically developed for the production of waste containers and is certified to internationally recognised quality standards. PE-HD is rot-resistant, cold-, heat- and chemical-resistant; special UV stabilisation makes it particularly age-resistant.

At the customer's request, tested recycled material from used waste containers is used. Details of every test mark are documented on our quality and certification page. State-of-the-art production facilities, flexible precision manufacturing, continuous and rigorous internal quality controls and ongoing external monitoring by independent testing institutes ensure maximum product quality.
